Last night and tonight

Last night was kinda of a dud! We wen to Blackout opening party in Greenpoint. Open bar from 10-12 Free Vodka! Place was so damn packed full of hipster gay nerds and a couple of trannies that we only stayed for 3 drinks each. Music wasn't bad though. Best part of the night was talking to some old black dude Mr. Berry from South Carolina at Fette Sau drinking bourbon,thanks Pat! Then just went back to 54's and drank some Pacifico's and crashed. Good hanging w/ the boys and Papa Pat even though his night was cut short,but like I said he didn't miss anything. Anyhow,didn't drop a lot of coin so that was good. On a brighter note 2 dear friends of mine Fred and Erin are moving to China and they're having a going away party tonight on Deez Nuts rooftop! Should be a blast for sure! Superdive,my workplace is giving us a discount on a Coney Island keg so that will be cool plus BBQ and what not. Hope the weather holds up,but Karla's getting tents just in case and there will be some slick DJ's as well including me maybe,haha! Anyway,as always,details to follow. R.I.P DJ AM,what a douchbag!

Out w/The Boys

Here goes! Finally!

Well here's my first entry and I'm sorry it's not gonna be a typical Alex story,just a beginning. Had my mom in town last week and we really had a great time! Downtown boat cruise,lots of amazing food,top of the rock was amazing and the best was the Fela Kuti off broadway show her last night here. I'm very lucky to have such a cool mom and great friends to share her time here with. Overall it was just a wonderful time! Also the weather was perfectly pleasant and cool at night which made her stay that much more relaxing coming from the horrible humidity and heat from Tampa,don't miss that at all. There's nothing like summer in NYC!  Anyway,just trying to save for my new flat screen for football season which I'm very excited about to say the least. Go Gators,Go Bucs!!! Like I said,first entry boring,but you better believe the good stories will come I promise! It might be hard though because Memphis is looking to be more like Pepe Moto,meaning more spiritual and wanting to settle down in all aspects of life. I want 1 women and that's it,but we all know how that works. These things just seem to fall in my lap sometimes,what is a young man to do? I'm waiting for the right women and pretty soon I may even have a contest for my love,seriously! I don't need to be on TV for this to happen. The search is on and I accept all the help I can get. Anyway,there you have it,my first blog entry. More to come soon.
